Learn to Sail course
Dan taught us how to sail aboard B-52 on the Gold Coast in 2019 . In December 2020 we bought a 43 foot monohull in Virginia,USA. We travelled 1000 miles down to Florida, crossed to the Bahamas,Turks and Caicos and the Dominican Republic. From there we sailed east to the Caribbean, and Las Aves off the Venezuelan coast, then Bonaire and on to Colombia, then Panama islands crossing the Panama Canal from the Atlantic to Pacific oceans , only a few days ago bringing our journey to almost 5000 miles. Next we will sail north up the Central American coast and then he hope to cross the pacific and sail home to Australia in 2023. We wouldn't be able to start this journey without your training Dan- Thank you!

Dan is an excellent practical skipper, articulate teacher and straight shooter who likes to have fun. He inspires a team and creates an inclusive environment for everyone to do their best. It’s a learning experience for everyone from the minute you step on board. I particularly like the fine balance between, professionalism, learning, fun and of course racing. Dan ensures that you have the opportunity to get whatever you want out of your experience on B52, even if it is just minimal involvement or time on the helm, spinnaker setting and trimming and everything in between. And it can get hectic and exciting when you are racing – “Whoo-hoo!”.

"Dan was a clear and concise instructor. Coupled with patience and consideration to one's abilities, this course was ideal for someone wishing to enhance their own sailing and race sailing skill set. The content and flow of instructions were relevant to the learning content. Overall, it has inspired me to keep going with what I want to achieve. Dan and Kym has helped me along this path.
